Special Assignee Relief Programme (SARP)
A program that offers income tax relief for certain employees assigned to work in Ireland from abroad.

Who qualifies: The program applies to employees assigned by a relevant employer (incorporated and tax resident in a country with a double taxation agreement or Tax Information Exchange Agreement with Ireland) to work in Ireland (or for an associated company) during the tax years 2012 to 2025.
How to apply: As of January 1, 2024, applications are submitted electronically through the new eSARP Portal on Revenue Online Service (ROS). This includes both Form SARP 1A (employee application) and SARP Employer Returns.
